Poem | in summary

In one of those rare, dashing, fleeting

moments;

when your tiny little mind goes blank,

and there is no you to consider

the eternity of nothingness

that you’ve become.

The world around you

has proliferated, and

the insanity of it all

suddenly goes

normal

With the snapping of

a proverbial finger.

She looked at me,

I looked at her;

our pinkies

touched

and a palpable joy

came over her

and me?

I just don’t know sometimes…
